The following photos show a sample piece of 0.024" thick Full Hard CRES 300 series Stainless Steel. This part was blocked into a shot bag to rough shape, then planished on a floor model planishing hammer using a steel upper hammer with a nylon lower die. The nylon die completely smooths the metal with no hammer marks and negligible additional stretching.
